Family Vacation 2015 - Part 1

We did it! We went to Disney World with 2 kids under 2! (Yes, we are crazy!) We decided to go ahead and book the trip because kids under 2 are free to fly and free to enter the parks. And, they are free because it is A LOT of work! I definitely needed a vacation from the vacation! This was our first vacation as a family of 4 and we decided to bring along Nana and Nene (Brian's mom and grandma) for back-up. Like I said, 2 kids under 2!
I want to make sure I document this trip on the blog, so I'm going to try to do a day by day wrap-up.

Day 1 - Travel
We left out on Friday, May 15th. We all squeezed into my parents SUV and headed to the airport. Our flight left at 2:40pm from Richmond and Myla was passed out before take off! Talk about perfect! My anxiety level was through the roof worrying about how the kids would do on the plance, but both kids did great. We arrived at our hotel, The Art of Animation,  checked in, and got settled into our room. Then we headed to the cafeteria on site to eat some dinner. We browsed the store and then headed back to the room. I had ordered a surprise welcome gift for Myla and Bryce. Hey - they needed Mickey ears! We all relaxed and then went to bed.

Day 2 -
We knew we would be worn out from traveling yesterday, so we decided to make this a pool day. The hotel had a HUGE splash pad that was perfect for both Myla and Bryce. Also, the pool had a zero entry entrance, like a beach, and that was also great for Myla. She absolutely LOVED the days at the pool. She was on her best behavior these days and was so happy running around and playing and splashing. After pool time, we got ready and headed to Downtown Disney. We shopped around and had dinner reservations at Planet Hollywood to celebrate Brian turning the big 3-0 the next day. They even put his name on the screen! When we returned to the room, the surprise cake I had ordered for Brian was waiting. He was surprised and LOVED his Mickey ears. HAHA! It was an awesome day and night!

I'll be back tomorrow with Part 2.
Toodles!
